How to Get Free Stocking Stuffers

This year, I’m not paying for any of my stocking stuffers, and you don’t have to either. Just follow these tips to get all of your stocking stuffers for free:

Request Free Samples

Manufacturer’s offer all sorts of free product samples, and many of them make perfect stocking stuffers. Start requesting those freebies now, so they’ll get here in time for Christmas.  A few things to be on the lookout for: beauty products, coffee, tea bags and snack foods

Cash in Your Rewards Points

Every company has a rewards program these days (or so it seems). Find out how many points you’ve accumulated over the course of the year. Then, redeem some of them for gift cards to buy stocking stuffers.

Take Advantage of Free-After Deals

Watch the weekly sales fliers for opportunities to snag free products after coupon or rewards. Drug stores love to run promotions like these. Also watch for free-after-rebate deals. You’ll see lots of them during the holiday season.

Get in on Social Media Giveaways

Brands love to build hype for their products by doing free giveaways on Facebook or Twitter. Be among the first to respond, and you’ll score some pretty cool loot – maybe even full size products! To stay on top of the latest giveaways, start following your favorite brands now.

Test Your Luck

Holiday sweepstakes are a popular promotion, and there are lots of great prizes up for grab. To increase your chance of winning (and get your prize in time to give), focus on blog giveaways. They get far fewer entrants, and will be quick to mail out your winnings.
