Valpak Saves Donates $35,000 to Charity

We recently challenged our franchise employees to “save something” in their communities with Valpak Saves. Twenty-two Valpak offices from across the U.S. and Canada logged hundreds of volunteer hours during this monthlong community outreach contest. We planted trees, we fed the homeless, we mentored kids, we collected trash – we made a difference!

Valpak Saves was an opportunity to benefit worthy causes, to build relationships within our communities and offices and to earn a chance to win up to $20,000 for the nonprofit of our choice. Please join us in congratulating the contest winners:

Valpak of Indianapolis
$20,000 to Salvation Army and other charities

Indianapolis truly embodied the spirit of Valpak Saves, volunteering more than 170 hours with nine nonprofits and helping to raise over $100,000 (not including the $20,000 donation!).

Valpak of Denver
$10,000 to The Gathering Place

Denver purchased, prepped and served meals to more than 400 homeless and poverty-stricken women, children and transgendered individuals.

Valpak of Northeast Wisconsin
$2,750 to Rachel’s Operation Act of Kindness Fund

Northeast Wisconsin collected donations, sold raffle tickets, manned a silent auction and helped run The Fallen Soldiers Memory Walk, benefitting Rachel’s Operation Act of Kindness Fund.

Valpak of Salt Lake City
$2,750 to Kids On The Move

Salt Lake City threw a fishing party for Kids On The Move, a nonprofit that supports, educates and enriches the lives of children with developmental disabilities and delays and their families.
