HOW TO ENTER AND PLAY: The Sweepstakes will begin at 12:01 a.m. (ET) on October 20, 2008 and end at 11:59:59 p.m. (ET) on December 12, 2008 (the "Sweepstakes Period"). Participants can enter online or by mail. Two drawings will be held during the Sweepstakes Period as outlined below. Each weekday (Monday-Friday) during the Sweepstakes Period, the television show "The Bonnie Hunt Show" (the "Program") will introduce a featured celebrity guest star. To enter the Sweepstakes, watch the Program each weekday during the Sweepstakes Period (check your local listings for the time and station), note the name of the featured celebrity guest star for that day and submit the featured celebrity's name either online by 11:59:59 pm (ET) on the day the celebrity guest star appeared or by mail as instructed below. Participants who are not able to view the Program may obtain the name of the featured celebrity guest star for entry into the Sweepstakes by visiting the bonniehunt.com Internet site. All participants will be required to submit an entry into the Sweepstakes as outlined below and will be required to include with their entry the name of a featured celebrity guest star that appeared on the Program. In the event a featured celebrity guest star is not introduced during an airing of the Program, participants will still be eligible for entry into the sweepstakes by entering "None" in the appropriate field of the entry form. Entries that do not include the correct information will be disqualified. Entry limitations: Maximum of one (1) entry per person per weekday during the Sweepstakes Period, regardless of method of entry used. Online Entry: To enter online, complete the Official Online Registration form, available at bonniehunt.com or valpak.com, by entering your first name, last name, street address, city, state/province, zip/postal code, daytime phone number, birth date, email address and the name of the featured celebrity guest star that appeared on the Program that day (i.e., on the day of entry), or "None" if applicable. If you wish to submit more than one online entry during the Sweepstakes Period, you must also check the "opt-in" box to indicate your consent to receive email updates about special offers and savings available through Valpak.com^®. Submit your entry by clicking on the "ENTER" button. No more than one (1) online entry per weekday may be registered from the same computer terminal. You may withdraw your consent to receive emails about special savings and offers from Valpak.com at any time by emailing us at customer_service@valpak.com and entering "Unsubscribe" into the subject line. If you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent to receive these marketing emails during the Sweepstakes Period, you will not be entitled to any further daily online entries for the remainder of the Sweepstakes Period. You may, however, continue to enter up to one (1) time per day using the mail-in entry mechanism described herein. Mail-In Entry: To enter by regular mail, cut-out and complete the registration form printed on the inside of your Valpak envelope, or hand-print on a 3"x5" piece of paper your name, address, city, state/province, zip/postal code, daytime phone number, birth date, the name of the featured celebrity guest star that appeared on the Program, or "None" if applicable, and the date that featured celebrity guest star appeared on the Program. All mail-in entries must be mailed to "Bonnie's Road To Riches Sweepstakes" from Valpak, P.O. Box 37, Fombell, PA 16123. No photocopies, mechanical reproductions, altered, illegible, garbled, incomplete, mutilated, postage-due or forged entries will be accepted. All online entries must be received no later than 04:59:59 p.m. (ET) on November 21, 2008 for entry into the Grand Prize drawing and no later than 11:59:59 p.m. (ET) on December 12, 2008 for entry into the First Prize drawing. All mail-in entries must be postmarked by November 19, 2008 and received by 04:59:59 p.m. (ET) on November 21, 2008 for the Grand Prize drawing and postmarked by December 12, 2008 and received by 12:00:00 p.m. (noon) (ET) on December 18, 2008 for the First Prize drawing. All entries become the property of Sponsor and none will be returned. In the event of a dispute in connection with the identity of the individual who submitted an online entry, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the email account identified on the online entry form. The authorized account holder is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, service provider, or other online organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
ELIGIBILITY: Subject to the additional limitations set forth below, the Sweepstakes is open only to residents of the 50 United States and D.C. who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at time of entry and to residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) who have reached the age of majority in their province of residence at time of entry. Sweepstakes is not open to employees of Sponsor, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, The Bonnie Hunt Show, or any of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising or promotional agencies (collectively, the "Sweepstakes Entities"), or to the immediate family members of, or to any persons domiciled with, any such employees. For purposes of the Sweepstakes, "immediate family members" are defined as spouses, children, siblings, parents, grandparents and grandchildren.
PRIZES & ODDS: The award of all prizes is subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received for the applicable drawing. For details regarding the prize drawings see Paragraph 5, below. Sweepstakes Entities reserve the right to substitute any prize or any prize component with another prize of equal or greater value. Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a 3 day/2 night trip for winner and one (1) guest to Los Angeles to attend the taping of the Program. Trip consists of two (2) round-trip coach class tickets for air transportation from the major hub airport closest to the winner's home to Los Angeles, CA, hotel accommodations for two (2) nights (one room, double-occupancy), ground transportation between the airport and the hotel, two (2) VIP tickets to the taping of the Program, and Ten Thousand U.S. Dollars in the form of a check ($10,000 USD). Approximate retail value ("ARV") of Grand Prize package is $12,500.00 USD. Actual value of Grand Prize may vary depending upon location of major hub airport nearest to winner's home, travel itinerary, and costs of air travel at time of award. Trip must be scheduled through Sweepstakes Entities' designated agency at least 30 days in advance of travel and must be taken by May 1, 2009. Travel dates are subject to availability and certain blackout dates or other restrictions may apply. No changes will be made to travel details once any portion of travel arrangements have been made, except at Sweepstakes Entities' and their agency's sole discretion. Guest of Grand Prize Winner must travel with Grand Prize Winner on same itinerary. Travel must originate from and end at the same airport. Sweepstakes Entities will not be responsible for changes in schedule of any element of the Grand Prize, and will not be liable for any expenses incurred as a consequence of flight cancellation/delay. The Grand Prize Winner and his/her travel companion may be required to provide appropriate government issued photo identification (such as a valid passport) at time of travel. The Grand Prize winner and his/her travel companion are solely responsible for determining and obtaining all necessary travel documents and other travel requirements. Complete trip details will be furnished with prize notification. All expenses associated with Grand Prize travel package not specifically described above will be the sole responsibility of the winner and of his or her travel companion, including without limitation, local transportation, and food and beverages. As a condition of claiming prize, the Grand Prize Winner must complete, sign and notarize an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release and, except where prohibited by law, publicity release, which must be returned via mail or hand delivery within ten (10) business days of date of sender's postmark. Grand Prize Winner must also sign any other legal documents which Sponsor may require (including W9 tax forms, if applicable). The person (or the parent/legal guardian of a legal minor) traveling as a companion of the Grand Prize Winner must also complete and return a liability and publicity release before airline tickets or other components of the Grand Prize will be awarded. First Prize: Thirty (30) First Prize Winners will each receive a prize pack from the Program that includes one (1) Bonnie T-shirt, one (1) Bonnie Tea Tumbler, one (1) Bonnie Candle, and one (1) Bonnie Post-it^® Notes. ARV of each First Prize Package is $25.00 USD. Limit one (1) prize per person. Prizes are non-assignable and nontransferable. Winners are solely responsible for payment of all taxes on prize and for any costs incurred in claiming or using prize. Prizes and individual components of prize packages are subject to availability, and the Sweepstakes Entities reserve the right to substitute prizes, or prize components, of equal or greater value. Failure of a winner to timely sign, notarize and return any required affidavit and release, to timely respond to a prize notification, or to claim his or her prize or comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules, or the return of any prize notification as undeliverable, will result in disqualification, the forfeiture of the winner's interest in the prize, and the award of the prize to a substitute drawing winner to be randomly selected from all remaining eligible entrants (for selection of a substitute Grand Prize Winner, remaining eligible entrants will consist of the remaining official semi-finalists described in Paragraph 5, below).
WINNER SELECTION, NOTIFICATION AND ACCEPTANCE: Two drawings will be held during the Sweepstakes Period. As noted in Paragraph 3, above, to be eligible for a particular drawing, entries must be received by the stated entry deadline for that drawing. For the Grand Prize Drawing, all online entries must be received by 04:59:59 p.m. (ET) on November 21, 2008 and all mail-in entries must be postmarked by November 19, 2008 and received by 04:59:59 p.m. (ET) on November 21, 2008. For the First Prize Drawing, all online entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. (ET) on December 12, 2008 and all mail-in entries must be postmarked by December 12, 2008 and received by 12:00:00 p.m. (noon) (ET) on December 18, 2008. Grand Prize Drawing: A random drawing from among all eligible entries received by the Grand Prize Drawing entry deadline will be conducted at approximately 07:00:00 pm (ET) on November 21, 2008 to select ten (10) semi-finalists to participate in the Grand Prize drawing. The semi-finalist drawing will be conducted as follows: ten (10) provisional semi-finalists will be selected at random and Sponsor's fulfillment center will attempt to contact the selected provisional semi-finalists in person by telephone using the telephone number provided on the provisional semi-finalists' entry forms. If Sponsor's fulfillment center is unable to reach a provisional semi-finalist in person by telephone (Sponsor's fulfillment center may call up to three times and no messages will be left), that provisional semi-finalist will be disqualified and a substitute provisional semi-finalist will be randomly selected from among the remaining eligible entries. The first ten (10) eligible provisional semi-finalists that the Sponsor successfully contacts personally by telephone, that accept the terms of being a semi-finalist and that satisfy the requirements of these Official Rules will be declared an official semi-finalist. Each official semi-finalist will be required to provide a valid phone number where they can be reached on November 25, 2008, during a time period specified by the Sweepstakes Entities, and must agree to return any required documents in the event they are chosen as the Grand Prize Winner. On November 25, 2008, during the taping of the Program the Program's host will randomly select one (1) of the official semi-finalist names from the ten (10) provided by Sponsor's fulfillment center and, subject to the additional requirements explained below for Canadian Provisional Winners, the selected official semi-finalist will be declared the provisional Grand Prize Winner. The Program's host will contact the selected provisional Grand Prize Winner at the number provided on that person's entry form to personally notify the person selected that he or she has potentially won the Grand Prize. Actual award of the Grand Prize is subject to verification of the selected provisional Grand Prize Winner's eligibility and compliance with the terms and conditions of these Official Rules. First Prize Drawing: A random drawing from among all eligible entries received by the First Prize Drawing entry deadline (except for the Grand Prize Winner's entry) will be conducted during regular business hours on December 19, 2008 to select thirty (30) First Prize Winners. Subject to the additional requirements explained below for Canadian Provisional Winners, each First Prize Winner will receive his or her prize by mail at the address provided on his or her entry form. The return of any prize, affidavit/release or prize notification as undeliverable, or a Winner's failure to otherwise comply with these Official Rules will result in disqualification, the forfeiture of all interest in the prize, and selection of a substitute winner from among all remaining eligible entrants (for selection of a substitute Grand Prize Winner, remaining eligible entrants will consist of the remaining official semi-finalists described in Paragraph 5, below). Unless prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for the Sweepstakes Entities to use the winner's name, address (city and state/province) and/or likeness for advertising and trade purposes without further compensation, worldwide and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media, now known and hereafter devised, including without limitation the Internet.
CANADIAN WINNER: A Canadian Provisional Winner, in order to win and receive a prize, must first correctly answer, unaided and without mechanical or electronic assistance, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by mail or by telephone. Failure of a Canadian Provisional Winner to correctly answer the skill-testing question in the time allotted will result in disqualification, the forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize, and the random selection of a substitute Canadian Provisional Winner from among all remaining eligible entries at the end of the Sweepstakes Period. Sponsor's fulfillment center will attempt to contact a Canadian Provisional Winner three times by telephone during regular business hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET) at the number provided on the Canadian Provisional Winner's entry form. If Sponsor's fulfillment center is unable to reach a Canadian Provisional Winner by telephone (Sponsor's fulfillment center may call up to three times in a 24-hour period and no messages will be left), that Canadian Provisional Winner will be disqualified and a substitute Canadian Provisional Winner may be randomly selected from the remaining eligible entries at the end of the Sweepstakes Period.
CONDITIONS: By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor and Sweepstakes judges appointed by Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this Sweepstakes will be ineligible for prizes and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
DISCLAIMERS: By entering, participants acknowledge and agree that the Sweepstakes Entities will not be liable for losses or injuries of any kind resulting from acceptance/possession/use and/or misuse of prize(s), the theft of prizes or mail, travel to and from any prize-related activity, participation in the Sweepstakes, printing, mailing or distribution errors, or any malfunctions of the telephone network, computer Internet system, computer dating mechanism, computer equipment, software, or any combination thereof, or for any entries that are late (including delayed data transmissions), tampered with, garbled, incomplete, misdirected, lost, postage-due, forged, illegible, inaudible, mutilated, mechanically duplicated, mass machine printed, or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules. Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage to any participant's or third person's computer and/or its contents, related to or resulting from Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to terminate, suspend or modify the Sweepstakes if, in its sole discretion, it determines that for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as originally planned, or fraud, technical failures, printing, mailing or distribution errors, or any other unanticipated causes or occurrences have compromised the fairness or integrity of the Sweepstakes. In the event the Sweepstakes is terminated prior to the stated end date, Sponsor reserves the right to award all prizes in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received as of the date of termination.
SWEEPSTAKES MAIL OPT-OUT REQUEST/WINNERS' LIST: To request the name and hometown of the winners (available after January 30, 2009), an official mail-in entry form and/or a copy of these Official Rules, send a self-addressed, stamped business-size envelope to "Bonnie's Road To Riches Sweepstakes" from Valpak, P.O. Box 13428, St. Petersburg, Florida 33733, Attn: Promotions Department. Indicate whether you are requesting the name of the winners, an entry form or a copy of these Official Rules, or any combination of the foregoing. Residents of Vermont may omit return postage for rules or entry form requests.
