MemberFocus Community Credit Union with two convenient locations in Dearborn, MI has a long history of serving members of the Dearborn and the surrounding community. Founded in 1935 as Fordson Teacher's Credit Union, they began serving teachers at Fordson High School.
In 1948, increased demand for their services led them to expand their services to others. They began serving employees and relatives of the entire Dearborn School System including Henry Ford Community College and they changed their name to Dearborn Schools Credit Union.
As the quality of their service increased, others in the area became interested in utilizing their friendly, convenient services. In 2005, they amended their charter to become a community charter, thus making their services available to those who reside, attend school, worship or work in Western Wayne County. In 2007 they changed their name to MemberFocus Community Credit Union.
Today they are still going strong, with a full line of financial products and services, bilingual speaking employees, and a commitment to stay connected to the local communities.
