(LARGO, FL - October 1, 2013) — Valpak Direct Marketing Systems, Inc., a leader in local print and digital coupons, will have a whopping 90 employees participating in the United Way Suncoast’s 2013 Day of Caring.
The 21st annual Day of Caring will be held Thursday, Oct. 3 and will bring together thousands of volunteers in one day to help organizations to provide important community services across Tampa Bay in the five counties of Pinellas, Hillsborough, DeSoto, Sarasota and Manatee.
Valpak employees will spend the day sprucing up the cultural arts center at PARC, 3100 75th Street North, St. Petersburg. Employees will paint the interior of the gym, the exterior of the cultural arts center and the wooden fence, and stain wood benches. The project will include landscaping, including weeding, trimming, mulching, cleaning out flower beds and relocating palm trees.

PARC — Providing Advocacy, Recognizing Abilities — is a non-profit organization that provides about 40 services to more than 800 children and adults with developmental disabilities. For 20 years, United Way’s Day of Caring has joined caring community members with community agencies, schools and other organizations that need them. This year, 105 corporations and 81 community partners will participate in the United Way Day of Caring.
