My name is Peter Monzi, I’m the owner of Shamrock Paints, and I’ve been advertising with Valpak for about 30 years. We have two stores on Staten Island, one here on Victory Boulevard and one on Richmond Avenue, Arthur Kill Road.
When I did some investigation, Valpak seemed to be one of the better direct mail avenues for me. One of the reasons is because you can target the market you’re looking to advertise in. Again, in the New York area here, the newspaper print is not what it used to be in the local papers, in the large papers like the Daily News and The Post. It gets to be extremely expensive. Radio is through the roof, forget television. I mean, I couldn’t afford it and I have a fairly good size small business.
So Valpak gives you the ability to target certain markets and certain areas and we reach 60-80,000 people a month. I could not even think to do that for the dollars that I spend at Valpak with any other kind of media advertising. They do our Twitter, our Facebook, all social media, we could track them and what not. They can handle everything for me so it just makes it easier for me and my business so I don’t have to spend the time to do it. The professionals do it at Valpak.
I would definitely recommend Valpak to other businesses. They do a tremendous job and they can streamline your advertising. It’s cost efficient. Valpak is a great way to reach the customers you want to reach at a very, very affordable price.
