A blizzard, a hurricane, a tornado or other weather disasters can leave you without power. By now you’ve learned to stock up on basics whenever you get your grocery coupons or check your price comparison apps like Favado.

These are universal foods you can live on them for weeks if you have to: extra large containers of peanut butter or other nut butters, crackers, gallon jugs of water (one per person per day), shelf-stable milk, powdered mashed potatoes, cereal and canned fruit and veggies.
