Some companies have instituted similar incentives for their employees as well, so check with your employer to see if you qualify. If you have to work out, you might as well get paid for it!
Healthier choices will also save you a lot in the long run. The Department of Health and Human services recommends that healthy adults get 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity a week. Following those guidelines helps to prevent or manage a variety of health issues and concerns, ranging from heart disease to diabetes. No matter what happens with your finances, you’ll at least have your health. And considering the high medical costs associated with these conditions, it will definitely help your bank balance, too.
