Holidays are a time for festivities, food, and family…but with all the food and festivities come costly trips to the stores. Spending money is almost unavoidable during the holidays. And, for many, saving during the year to prepare for the holidays, is not always feasible. But have no fear – coupons are here to save the day.

From mobile apps like PriceJump and Favado to traditional coupon cutting, there are lots of opportunities to save this year.

So, with a little help from coupons, you can save yourself money and stress, leaving you more time for memories with the family.

If you can’t believe the calendar already says December, you’re not alone. It’s not as if I didn’t know it was coming. In fact, I ushered it in by falling asleep to George Winston’s “December.” Yet, here I am thinking, “Where did the year go?”

As much as I love the holiday season, I never seem to have the huge budget I promised myself a year ago. Here it is, the next year, and my budget is tight … again. With holiday entertaining, I end up spending more on food than I do other months. I do what I can to save money on food by combining the savings from grocery apps on my iPhone with coupons from the Sunday circular and those found online.

There are several good online coupons this month, especially for ingredients used in holiday baking.
