Mike Severance had managed and then owned the Cactus Grille for 20 years before closing in December 2008. Since then, the father and daughter had worked in a variety of restaurants. Although Severance had a full-time job in 2012, him and his family decided to take the opportunity to resurrect the Cactus Grille in downtown Loveland. Since then, the rest is history. Being voted Best Margarita, Best Patio, & Best Happy Hour the last 5 years has proved the decision to reopen the Cactus Grille was the best choice they could have made.
