Named after their grandmother, Millie’s is the brainchild of two brothers seeking to share their passion for Italian food and celebration of the Italian culture with their local community. Millie’s of Staten Island will be a neighborhood destination joining the original Morristown, NJ spot (est. 2013) that gained both consumer and critics’ attention, rising to the top of the “best pizza” list in New Jersey and winning 3rd place in the world at the International Pizza Expo. Millie’s of Staten Island’s features include a custom, 22-seat bar and three garage doors that open to 2,500 square feet of outdoor dining space. Millie’s serves delicious, coal- and Neapolitan wood-fired artisan pizzas and meatballs based on Vince and Brandon’s grandmother Millie’s recipes.
Millie's also offers their famous meatballs, via a "Box of Balls" flash frozen to be shipped nationwide or a fresh-made "Pot of Balls" for pick-up or delivery locally and ready to heat and serve anytime.
A 45-foot Pizza Bar made from Brazilian quartzite stone with built in wine fridge offers guests a front-row seat to pizza making in action. The Japanese charred cedar wood (Shou Sugi Ban) used throughout the space pays homage to Millies' wood burning ovens. Separating the bar from the main dining room is a custom-built glass wine cellar, a magnificent showcase that holds 160 bottles.
