LARGO, FL. (September 18, 2012) Valpak, a leader in local print and digital coupons, will target families and savings in a new national campaign, which airs this September nationwide.

The Blue Envelope®, Valpak.com and the Valpak savings app all take center stage in the new Valpak consumer commercial, Coming Home: a story of a dad-daughter duo that uses Valpak savings to find savings in unexpected places. The commercial shows how consumers can find offers in the mail, online or on the phone, and declares: “This is today’s Valpak.”

The commercial will be featured on digital and social messaging through Oct. 31, and will run on Valpak partner television stations TNT and TBS Oct. 9-28.

“The goal of the commercial is to enhance our brand’s perception among today’s cost-conscious consumers and build top-of-mind awareness with savvy advertisers,” said Lisa Sullivan, Vice President of Marketing at Cox Target Media, providers on Valpak.

“We’ll use national television placement and pre-roll advertisements on targeted websites to reach consumers with the message,” according to Sullivan. “Valpak.com and Valpak’s social media networks also will be used to engage consumers with the commercial, extended video story, and sweepstakes.”

The commercial also drives viewers to Valpak.com where they can watch “The Dragon Balthazar,” a video that completes the commercial’s story. Consumers can enter a sweepstakes to win the five-foot stuffed Balthazar dragon that appears in the commercial.

The Coming Home TV commercial is available in a 20, 30, 60 or extended format. The commercial was created by Dunn & Co. Advertising from Tampa, FL.

“Valpak has mostly focused on b2b advertising in the past, but with the redesign of Valpak.com last fall, upgrades to smartphones, and foray into social media, we are really heading back to the consumer,” said Sullivan.
