(LARGO, FL - April 22, 2013) — Valpak, a leader in local print and digital coupons, announced today that it has signed a franchise agreement with Greg Woodsit to bring The Blue Envelope® to residents in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. The market has been dormant since 2005. Woodsit and his team will bring Valpak to an expanded geographical area that initially includes Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph. In time, London will also be added to the distribution. The Blue Envelope will be mailed monthly, with the first one reaching residents at the beginning of June.
“I’ve been considering business ownership for a number of years,” said Greg Woodsit, President of Valpak Southwestern Ontario. “Businesses in the region need an effective and efficient way to reach consumers. Valpak’s brand strength, economies of scale and proven direct marketing system will allow us to help businesses in Southwestern Ontario be more successful, by helping them reach and attract their target audience.”
Woodsit has a strong professional background in sales and marketing with more than two decades of experience. He began his career selling office equipment for a leading global company, and then moved into the healthcare industry, where he has spent the past 15 years. Woodsit and a team of five have already begun helping businesses within the Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph market.
“As we continue our rapid expansion across Canada, we are looking for experienced sales professionals to add to our team,” said Todd Leiser, Director of Franchise at Valpak. “Greg Woodsit epitomizes that definition and we are thrilled he will be bringing the blue envelope to consumers in Southwestern Ontario.”
A leader in cooperative direct mail, Valpak mails over 20 billion coupons to more than 40 million demographically-targeted households per month in more than 100 markets in 45 states and four Canadian provinces.
