(TAMPA BAY, FL – August 8, 2014) – Stephanie Stewart, Director of Agile Leadership at Cox Target Media and Valpak, was elected to serve on the board of directors for the Agile Alliance, an international organization that advances Agile principles and practices.

Its board is comprised of industry professionals from countries around the world. Her three-year term (2015-2017) starts in January.

“I’m honored to be elected to the Board of Directors for the Agile Alliance,” said Stewart. “While I know I have much to learn, I feel I have equally as much to contribute to advancing Agile across the globe.”

The Agile Alliance supports those who explore and apply Agile in order to make the software industry more productive, humane and sustainable.

Stephanie, a self-admitted Agile enthusiast, has been instrumental in bringing Agile to IT, and now, to the entire Cox Target Media organization. Her blog, i.am.agile, documents the successes and trials Valpak experienced during their Agile transformation over the past three years. In addition, Stephanie also organizes the Tampa Bay Agile Meetup and the Agile Open Florida. She also shares her knowledge and experience with other companies in the Tampa Bay area and beyond.
